Become a Community Partner

Skills Bank is keen to engage with South Yorkshire based community and voluntary organisations to enhance the current Skills Bank service, enabling businesses to make step changes in welfare, inclusion, corporate social responsibility and access to volunteering opportunities.

Through the application and appraisal process Skills Bank will encourage employers to engage in welfare/health and social value activity and share their business expertise with local community organisations.

Skills Bank is keen to engage with community, voluntary organisations that can provide either or both of the following for South Yorkshire businesses:

  1. Social value/welfare/health initiatives, resources and advice.
Skills Bank website will include a Skills Bank Community Partners section with links to an evolving suite of social value organisations/opportunities to support employers and help promote inclusion, wellbeing and volunteering.
  2. Social value/welfare and health training programmes.
Community partners have the opportunity to join the Skills Provider Framework and provide training that supports wellbeing initiatives and community spirited business models, encouraging greater levels of support for local communities. This will compliment training identified to support business development and growth.

The Skills Bank application process will make referrals and recommend collaboration between employers and Skills Bank Community Partners.
